He’s wearing a blue scarfESL Game

Draw and then photocopy a human figure outline A4 size and give each person two. Each person has to ‘dress’ one figure using as much colour and imagination as possible. Then, working in separate pairs they have to describe their figure to their partner who tries to dress their other figure in the same way. Obviously they mustn’t be able to see the figure they are copying. Compare at the end. Good for clothes, obviously, but also for other descriptive language and also present continuous. Place the couple far apart to encourage volume and discourage whispering!
