Most people, teachers, business people and others don’t like appraisals! They often feel that they are intrusive and function as an ‘error-spotting’ exercise. They may be right; if observers / appraisers are not properly trained in this potentially useful and generative art, why should it work at all?
But feedback is a two-way street and the receivers also need coaching in how to manage their own observations and feedback.
This workshop gives accessible advice on many aspects of the process, offering participants multiple opportunities to understand better how efficient and effective appraisals can work.
